/usr insufficient space on FD (Sever or VM being backed up)
In some scenarios customers may have partitioning configured in such a way that /usr does not have adequate space for backup processes.
Typically, and traditionally, a symlink would work, however, with the new ReaR based BMR technology we have rolled out, this will impede your ability to perform a full BMR, and many restoration of some data may be required.
The solution, if BMR is enabled and you require additional space within the /usr is to use mount instead of symlink, and this will be recognized and honored by the ReaR BMR system during the imaging and restoration process
