New MSSQL Restore Process

The way that MSSQL restores are handled in Clusterlogics has changed. The master database as well as database logins can now be restored to ensure a full disaster recovery solution is attainable.

A new option has been added, called "Recover SQL Server" which takes the following steps under the hood:
  1. Restore data from backup.
  2. Reset the master database to default.
  3. Restore MSSQL logins from backup.
  4. Restore all of the databases.
To initiate an MSSQL recovery, select the highlighted option below.



Please note that this option will not be available until a re-run of the configuration wizard is done for the server through Clusterlogics.
