Director and Web Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements for the director and web roles in Bacula4Hosts DCE Edition are vital to ensure adequate system performance.  Below are some basic guidelines however, support will be able to assist further based on your scaling requirements.
 

Director (Control) Server
CPU: (1) modern, single quad score
Memory: 16-32GB RAM
Disk: 4*SAS or 4*SSD drives raid10 (hardware raid 10 would be strongly advised) **

**Capacity will depend on the number/type of VMs and Servers being backed up.

GUI server
CPU: (1) modern, dual or quad core cpu or (2) vCPUs if virtualized
Memory: 2-8GB RAM
Disk: 100-200GB disk
